Dr. Luciano built Sparrow to give women an alternative to the fragmented, rushed care often experienced in the traditional system. Sparrow is her answer: a small practice where the doctor-patient relationship is the foundation of everything.

Annual well-woman exams, contraception counseling and management, preconception health, postpartum wellness, evaluation and treatment of menstrual irregularities, PMOS (formerly PCOS) and endometriosis, all with one doctor who knows your full history.

"I strive to know each woman's story, to know her face and name reflexively, to prioritize her concerns."

Dr. Luciano grew up in Wheeling, West Virginia, one of three sisters in a loving household with hard-working parents. A competitive athlete throughout high school, she pursued her undergraduate degree at Marietta College in Ohio, where she met her husband Christopher. She went on to earn her medical degree at Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine, then completed her OB/GYN residency at Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies in Orlando, Florida.

After years of private practice and hospitalist care, and following the birth of her own two children, Dr. Luciano felt called to build something different and founded Sparrow: a practice designed around an intentionally slower schedule, evidence-based care, and the formation of real, lasting connections with patients.

Outside of her practice, Dr. Luciano prioritizes time outdoors with her family, friends, and Pepper, her velcro-dog. She and her family are longtime members of Christ United Fellowship in downtown Orlando. Dr. Luciano enjoys the culinary and creative arts, she unwinds with long walks, great books, good coffee, and conversation.

What is a micro-practice?+
A micro-practice is an autonomous medical practice with one physician and minimal office staff, serving a selectively smaller patient volume. It's what the doctor-patient relationship was always meant to be. Think of it like having a doctor in the family: someone who knows you personally, makes themselves easily accessible, and gives you unrushed, meaningful time without the constraints of a traditional practice.
Am I a good fit for Sparrow?+
Sparrow is open to all women, especially those who have felt frustrated, unheard, or rushed through previous women's health appointments. We're a great fit for women who consider themselves generally healthy but want increased attention and real support in optimizing their wellness.
Why do I need a meet & greet?+
The micro-practice model is built on the relationship between patient and physician. We want you to feel genuinely comfortable. We're confident that once you experience the atmosphere at Sparrow, you'll trust us with your health.
Who will be my care team?+
The one and only Dr. Luciano. All members receive a direct line for HIPAA-compliant call, text, and message communication with her directly, from start to finish.
Do you offer prenatal care or deliveries?+
No. While Dr. Luciano is trained in general and high-risk obstetric care, she is now focusing on preconception health and postpartum wellness. She is not offering prenatal care or delivery services through Sparrow Women's Health.
Do you perform gynecologic surgeries?+
The office is equipped for procedures including contraceptive implant insertions and removals, colposcopy with or without biopsy, and endometrial biopsy. For minor gynecologic procedures, Dr. Luciano will maintain surgical privileges at a local surgery center. For major surgery, Dr. Luciano will guide you through trusted referrals for definitive management.
How much does membership cost?+
Pricing is transparent and tiered based on your needs. Perimenopause Roadmap and Menopause memberships start with a one-time $200 enrollment fee and $120/month (6-month minimum). The enrollment covers your in-depth intake visit and personalized care roadmap. A Gynecology Monthly membership is $120/month. Non-member visits start at $150 for a well-woman exam. Group educational sessions are $50/person.
Why is there a 6-month minimum commitment?+
An individualized care plan takes time to implement and produce results. The 6-month commitment gives your care plan the opportunity to take root, and gives you the chance to experience the real benefits of this investment in your health.
Do you accept insurance?+
Yes, we are in the process of accepting most major commercial insurance carriers. If you have a high-deductible plan or anticipate needing more frequent follow-up, you may find the membership model offers significant added value. Routine lab work can also be billed to your insurance, and Dr. Luciano contracts directly with Quest and LabCorp for cash-pay pricing as well.
